Privacy policy

When you complete an enquiry form on this site we collect the details you give us: your name, phone number, email address, the project postcode, the type of project and anything you write in the message field. We also record which page the enquiry came from, and the date and time it was sent.

If you phone or email us instead, we hold the contact details and project information you provide in that conversation.

We use your information to respond to your enquiry, arrange a survey, prepare an estimate, deliver work you instruct us to carry out, and keep records of projects and correspondence. Our lawful basis is your consent when you send an enquiry, our legitimate interest in responding to it, and performance of a contract once you engage us. Where we have a legal obligation, for example building control, health and safety or tax records, that obligation applies too.

We do not sell your information, and we do not use it for marketing unrelated to your enquiry.

We share information only where it is needed to deliver your project or run our business: subcontractors and specialist trades working on your project, our accountants and professional advisers, building control bodies and local authorities where an application or inspection requires it, and the service providers that host this website and handle our email and enquiry records on our behalf.

Those providers act on our instructions and are required to keep your information secure.

Enquiries that do not lead to work are kept only as long as they are useful for following up, and then deleted. Records relating to projects we carry out are kept for as long as we may need them for contractual, insurance, warranty and legal purposes, and for the periods required by tax and construction record-keeping rules.

This website uses only the cookies and local storage needed for the site to function. Pages that show a Google map embed load content from Google, which may set its own cookies and receive your IP address; that is governed by Google's own privacy policy. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings.

Under UK data protection law you can ask us for a copy of the information we hold about you, ask us to correct it or delete it, object to or restrict how we use it, and withdraw consent at any time. If you are not satisfied with our response you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office (ico.org.uk).

We take reasonable technical and organisational steps to protect your information, including limiting access to those who need it. No transmission over the internet can be guaranteed completely secure, so please do not send sensitive documents by email unless we have agreed a method with you.
